John316Day.org - Leading others to Christ

 

On March 16, 2014, God placed a seed in the hearts of a few Christians. Since then that seed has grown into a project to unite the Body of Christ and spread the Gospel around the world. These humble servants of the Lord recognized the numerical significance of March 16 (3/16) and asked, “What if the Body of Christ (The Church - All Christians) united every year on March 16th (3/16) to celebrate “John 3:16 Day? And what if we could use that day to unite with our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world in a unified effort to share the Gospel?

 

They quickly realized this mission was truly a, “God-sized project” and they couldn’t do it alone. So they decided to enlist the help of Christians from around the world to organize and celebrate in their own way, but with a few common themes. First was the duty and privilege of every believer: To share the Good News that is available to all mankind and put so eloquently in the simple Bible verse of John 3:16, the most recognized piece of New Testament scripture.

 

Soon after they imagined how much this annual event might impact communities around the world and realized the simple but profound mission of John 3:16 Day: An outreach for all Christians around the world to share the Gospel and invite someone to know Jesus Christ, every March 16th in a world celebration until Easter Sunday (this April 17th 2022). John 3:16 Day was to be a world celebration that, in essence, would also carry on throughout the year thereafter the celebration for Christians to schedule into their calendar of outreach events. It was also to be a grass roots effort by individuals and churches with their own events and personality.

 

John 3:16 Day World Christian Revival Mission offers this website as a resource for support and conduit to coordinate the annual celebration and world countdown. An Internet search has shown that other Christians have also had God’s same seed growing in their hearts to recognize John 3:16 Day on March 16th of every year. We join with them in promoting this outreach.
